The information on this page sums up how the challenges we are dealing with due to Covid-19 outbreak may affect you as a customer. We are doing our best but we apologize for any inconvenience in advance.

We’re Still Open, But Not Business as Usual

We are happy to confirm we’re still open and will remain open for as long as we can. Though it isn’t without challenges and it’s not business as usual.

Due to coronavirus our staff are working from home to comply with social distancing rules. We are currently experiencing high demand, lots of stock shortages and extended delivery times. We are doing everything we can to get your products out to you as fast as we can!

Zero Contact Application Process & Delivery

We are fully committed to keeping you safe – our easy application process takes place entirely online and we have moved to contactless delivery across the country.

Product Shortages Notice

Below is the list of products we unfortunately either cannot get in stock at this time (Sold Out) or products that we are currently having issues sourcing (Limited Stock). You may have seen this on the product pages on our website

In some cases, we may be able to source similar product alternatives OR we may ask you to get a quote form a local store. Please enquire using Direct Appliance Rentals contact form if you have any questions.

Limited Brand and Color Choices Notice

Please note, due to product shortages in Australia and logistics issues we are currently not always able to source the exact same product as described on our website (especially laptop rentals, desktop computer rentals and gaming consoles). We always aim to supply a product of equal quality and similar spec’s but the brand or color may be different than pictured.

If you apply for a product that we can’t supply as described on the website, we will always let you know.  We will let you know differences between the advertised and supplied product and even allow you to get a quote for an item you like at a local store.

Delivery Delays Notice

The coronavirus is impacting how fast we can deliver your products to you and we do apologize for that. Currently you can expect delivery for most items within 7-10 business days (depending on the product type). If you don’t receive your goods within the timeframe listed in your order email, please contact us so we can help.

We will keep you informed every step of the way and make sure you get your items as fast as possible.

Pickup Information

We have suspended the pickup option for most products to keep everyone safe! The good news is delivery is included with your rental and your item will be safely delivered to your door.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still apply for custom rentals not on the website?

Yes. You can send us a quote or a screenshot for any item that you would like to rent. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to source the product you are after due to stock shortages from the coronavirus situation but if the product is not on the “Sold Out” list we will always attempt to source it for you or find the best available alternative.

I need a homeschooling device for my kids – can you help?

We are aware of the demand for home schooling devices and there are shortages around Australia but we will do our best to find you a device. If you have a specific device in mind from a local store, we can even lease this to you!

Do you offer Contactless Delivery?

Yes, all our deliveries are now contactless for your safety and peace of mind. Our delivery drivers may call to ask you about your health before delivering to keep us all safe.

When will out of stock items be re-stocked?

We will do our best to source out of stock items ASAP and will update the website as soon as stock becomes available 😊
